Reemergence

Well, even in the midst of the pandemic, I’ve been keeping my creative energy going! After nit-picking it to death, I’ve finally released my short film “Reemergence” that I shot over the summer—written, directed, shot, acted, and edited solely by me!

I had originally intended to submit this for the Musicbed Reopen Challenge

(https://www.musicbed.com/challenge), but I found that it was going to be too long and I thought I would spend some more time on it and turn it into a standalone film about the quarantine.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but it was a lesson in learning to let go and that “done is better than perfect.” Sometimes I am too much of a perfectionist. :P But hopefully I can take that lesson into the future as I move onto my next projects.
